Masai Mara River Crossing season begins on Mid July and lasts through August, to September.
The wildebeest crossing of the Mara River is one of the most dramatic events of the Great Migration. Each year, over 1.5 million wildebeest, along with hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles, make their way from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya in search of fresh grazing grounds.
The crossing typically occurs around late July to August and can extend into September.
The wildebeest face numerous challenges, including crocodile-infested waters and steep riverbanks.
This spectacle is a highlight for many safari-goers, offering a unique glimpse into the raw and powerful forces of nature.

Day 2 – Breakfast, Drive to Tarangire National Park for game drives. This is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks but still offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. The lakeshore at Manyara teems with birdlife, and while you are looking for the birds, you might spot one of the elusive tree-climbing lions. There are a surprising number of other large mammals Such as Elephants and Buffalos. Dinner and overnight

Day 3 – We start the day with an early morning game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival descend into the crater. The crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for the animals, which means there is plenty to see: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino and leopard (if you are lucky).
Enjoy your picnic lunch by the hippo pool. Late afternoon you will ascend the crater walls and drive for overnight stay

Day 4 – Drive to Central Serengeti, Full day exploring this park.
Serengeti is famous for is residents animals including big pride of lions.
Our guides will choose the best spotting locations for the time of year; we can spend time at the Hippo pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the cool water happily living alongside the crocodiles. Dinner and overnight

Day 5 – Drive to North Serengeti with game viewing enroute.
Pm game drive until evening.

Day 6 – Depart for full day game drive around North Serengeti,
Follow the wildebeest migration route at Mara river, to witness the crossing
Game drive along mara river, and have the opportunity to spot a wide range of wildlife, including impalas, crocodiles, hippos, and the Big Five (lion, leopard, and many more)

Day 7 – Am game drive enroute to Kogatende Airstrip, in good time for your flight departure to Arusha
